Going back into the archives again we are now up to October 2005. While October is well into Autumn this year it was still more like summer, as this photo taken on a trip down to St. Ives shows...

I took many photos that day, another I count as one of my favourites is this one of the late afternoon sun in Barnoon Cemetery...

...surely one of the most beautiful last resting places there is.

Of course October is the month we tend to see a lot of pumpkins around, and in St. Columb we had a massive pumpkin sale...

Also in October 2005 I popped over to the Eden Project one day and took another of my all-time favourites, and a favourite with many others...

This was in the lily pond in the Rainforest Biome, although at the time they called it the Humid Tropics Biome.

I can't believe (yet again) it's so long since I updated here. I really am going to try and do it more regularly.

In my last post I mentioned I was thinking about my upcoming Lake District holiday, which has now come and gone, and I'm trying to get the photos up on Flickr in my LAKE DISTRICT 2008 set. This one was taken on a walk along the Cumbria Way in Great Langdale...

In grasmere I went to the Wordsworth Daffodil Garden where I found the slate with my name on it in the pathway...

It's nice to think that when I've gone there will be a little bit of me left in Grasmere with William Wordsworth in his grave looking over me.
